Valentine’s Gift Guide for Her

Do not ask me why but whenever someone asks me about my favourite holidays, my mind always goes to Christmas & Halloween, but for some reason I never remember Valentine’s Day, despite the fact that I just absolutely adore it. Yes, I know it’s a commercialized holiday but I just love the idea of hearts and all of the pink, white & red everywhere! (If you don’t know this, my first tattoo was a heart, I love them that much!)

Of course, the holiday is very quickly approaching & I’m thinking I may actually almost be a little bit late to the party (oops!), but today I wanted to share with you all my Valentine’s gift guide for her; so let’s jump into it!

Clothing

This won’t be everyone's cup of tea, but there’s nothing I love more than cute & comfy (Hello, we’re still living through a pandemic - comfy is a way of living now!) clothing that features a heart, or heart pattern. If the person your shopping for loves this kind of look too, you can’t go wrong with these Valentine’s-inspired clothing items.

Accessories

What is cute clothing without the equally-cute accessories? Much like in clothing, I love a classic piece of everyday jewelry like a necklace or earrings that feature my favourite shape — the heart, of course. The best part about these pieces are they can be used for everyday, not just around Valentine’s Day!

Home Decor

Valentine’s Day in 2021, living through a global pandemic, means getting cozy at home over a home cooked meal (or maybe local take out?). This gift really applies to anyone, at any time, but you can’t go wrong with home decor items to help make your loved ones space just that little bit more cozy than it was before.

Tech Accessories

Ah, the age of technology. Let me tell you, though it’s been no walk in the park living in a COVID-world, I’ve been so grateful that we have access to things like FaceTime & Zoom so I can have a virtual wine night with my closest friends. Of course, you want to protect that tech and keep it in it’s best condition possible, while still looking cute & reflect your personality.

Treats

Last, but certainly not least — you can never go wrong with picking up your loved ones favourite treats. Candy, chocolate, wine… whatever their heart desires. And of course, if it’s pink, red & Valentine’s Day themed, all the better!

So what are you going to be up to this Valentine’s Day? Last year I was in Hawai’i and spent the day in Haleiwa on the North Shore of Oahu… so, safe to say this year will kind of be not as much fun, hahaha! I’ll probably be sitting on the couch watching a movie with some take out with my boyfriend & being pestered by the puppy, which quite honestly, is all I really need. Don’t forget to come back next week for my Valentine’s Gift Guide for Him!
