Happy Holidays, From Me To You

Another short & sweet one for you today! As you may, or may not have seen over the last few blogs, I decided this year I’m going to take a little break from blogging over the holidays - I think we can all agree that a break is much needed for everyone this year. Last year, I did actually blog right through the entire holiday season, and while it was a lot of fun, it definitely was a lot to keep up with! Check out all of my holiday posts from this year & last, here.

I wanted to write this quick, short & simple post to really get across one message - I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Happy Kwanzaa, whatever holiday you are celebrating this December, Happy Holidays to you! I hope you all take some time over the coming weeks to relax, enjoy spending time with your family - because man, did we learn this year that family truly is the most important thing, and just have fun. I know this year has been a doozy for literally the entire world… there really is not a single country (per Google) that hasn’t been touched by COVID-19, so no matter where you’re reading this from, I feel pretty confident that your year was probably turned upside down.

So park your butt on the couch, have a cup of hot chocolate, eat as many frickin’ sugar cookies as you want this season, and remember that we’re all in this together. It may feel lonely, but as someone told me, “it’s a weird feeling knowing you have the same fear as every other person in the world right now”, so I promise you’re not alone & we’re going to come out the other side of this! It seems like we’re on track to have a normal Christmas next year at least… so for now, enjoy being a lazy lump! You’re literally saving the world by doing that!

Everyone, stay safe & healthy this holiday season. Remember, stay apart so when we can get together again, no one is missing (this quote really hit home for me), and I’ll see you all again in the new year, specifically, January 4th, for some new blog posts. Don’t forget to sign up for my monthly newsletter before your leave, and once again, have a very happy holidays!
